Children’s Ministry

Welcome to Calvary Chapel and welcome

to the children’s ministry.

Our heart is to love and instruct the children in the Word of God. We use a variety ways to teach and memorize Scripture. We hope you and your children feel welcome and loved as you join the family of God here at Calvary.

Our children’s service on Sunday morning

begins at 8:30 & 10:30 a.m.

  • “Kalvary Kids” is for ages 3 years through 5th grade.
  • We have a time of worship together as well as a Bible Lesson presented by a “Truth Teller”
  • Followed by class where they learn more about the Bible lesson and practical application for their lives.

We have a nursery for babies 0 to 1 year of age.

 

A toddler ministry for 1 years to 3 years of age.

They sing, play and each child is prayed over individually by the teacher.

Both are available during Sunday and Thursday Services
Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. we meet for FW Friends (Faith Weaver) weaving God’s trust into kid’s hearts. They join in small groups with their leaders and travel to different stations: Games, Projects with a purpose, Surprise station and snack station. The Bible message is reinforced at each station while the kids have a blast. Each week a different group participates in a short impromptu skit and we end the evening with worship, receiving special pins for knowing their memory verse and writing in their journals

We believe teaching children God’s Word is the solid foundation that will sustain them through life’s storms, victoriously.

“There are three things that  will endure: faith, hope and love…

and the greatest of these is love.”

We believe loving the kids with God’s unconditional love is essential to drawing them into a close relationship with Him.

We have a “Bible Bucks” store that is open at the end of class the last Sunday of every month. Kids can spend their bible bucks that they have earned over the previous weeks.

Here’s how they earn them

Being at Sunday school = 1 buck

Bring a friend = 1 buck

Bring their Bible = 2 bucks

Knowing the memory verse = 3 bucks
